Cardiff Castle is a Medieval castle located in Wales. The castle was built in the 11th century by the Norman invaders on a hill where a Roman fort stood. From 12th century onwards it began to be built from stone. In the revolt of Owain Glendywr the castle was stormed.

Ludlow Castle is a ruined castle in Wales. It is believed to have been one of the first castles built in the Welsh Marches. It was here that Prince Arthur was given his own court when prince of Wales and here he died in 1502.

Pembroke Castle is an old Medieval castle that was for many centuries the seat of the Earls of Pembroke. It was built in 1093 by a Welshman and has been a grade I listed building for 68 years.

Beaumaris Castle, in Beaumaris, Anglesey, Wales, was built as part of Edward I's campaign to conquer north Wales after 1282. Plans were probably first made to construct the castle in 1284, but this was delayed due to lack of funds and work only began in 1295 following the Madog ap Llywelyn uprising.
