The queens chambers at Greenwich.

I had travelled to Greenwich and I was meeting with her majesty Queen Katherine to discuss something with her.

I waited for admission to her chambers.

My First lady In Waiting, Margaret Pole announces that thy Spanish Ambassador is here. I tell her to send him in.

[Guest]

As I enter the Queens Chambers i bow.

"Your majesty I hope that you are well. I bring news from your nephew in Spain. It concerns a matter of marriage for your daughter.

[Guest]

I arise from my desk as thy Spanish ambassador enters my rooms.

A marriage for Mary? What good news, whom is thy prospective husband?

[Guest]

"Your majesty the said husband is the son your nephew the emperor for you know who I mean but there is a problem too for the marriage can only happen if the king agrees and I believe he was intent on a French marriage with the Dauphin for Mary was he not?

[Guest]

I look at thy Ambassador

My nephew Charles? But that might work Eustace, together Rome, Spain and Englande will unite and be allies against France. His Grace hates France and is jealous of thy French King. If only someone close to him can put thy matter to him succinctly.

[Guest]

"I agree your majesty and what do you suggest regarding putting the matter to the King for I feel my presence would not be suitable and he would not listen to me.

[Guest]

I look at thy Ambassador.

Alas his Grace no longer listens to myself. Perhaps one of Lady Margaret's sons could put thy matter to him discreetly? But I fear he is much lost.

"Why would his Majesty not listen to his wife majesty? Whom do you suggest to talk to him about the matter?

[Guest]

I cast thine eyes down towards thy parchment papers spread out over my desk.

I will speak with his Grace on thy matter Ambassador. I do hope I am successful.

[Guest]

"Do inform me of what his Majesty says and I hope he agrees to this match.

[Guest]

I will of course Ambassador. Would thee like to stay for dinner? I hear we have new dishes of late that thee might enjoy?

[Guest]

"Your Majesty I would be most honoured to stay for dinner and thank you for allowing me such a fine request.

[Guest]

I smile and summon thy courtiers that thy ambassador is to stay for dinner.
We head into thy Great Hall with my hand maidens following behind us and I await thy king at thy other side of thy corridor.

I enter the hall and I see Katherine looking very beautiful in her gown and i approach her.

"Your Majesty looks very beautiful tonight and I thank you for inviting me to this feast. Is his majesty to join us?
