Re: King's Reception Room
I arrive at thy Kings rooms at Greenwich with my youngest children Ursala and Geaffory.
Thy kings privy rooms are full of light, laughter and cheer and many nobles and gentry are waiting to see the new king with documents and petitions.
One of thy Kings men sees me and I am immediately escorted to thy new king. I follow thy guard with hope and trepidation

Re: King's Reception Room
I am presented with the Lady Pole by my servant and as she enters with her children I turn towards her.
"Lady Pole i presume may I firstly welcome you to Greenwich and I am guessing these are your children am I correct? Catherine tells me that you wish to speak to me?

Re: King's Reception Room
I curtsy low to King Henry.
Your Grace, tis been a long time since you saw me. I used to visit you in your nursery when I was allowed. You probably do not remember me. I hope we can be friends, infanta Catalina is my best friend.
She asked if I would like to serve as her first lady in waiting when she is crowned. I hope very much that you accept on her behalf and that you take my children for royal duties. I believe we can all be of help to thy royal family.

I look up and towards Lady Pole.
"Lady Pole please do forgive me but I do not recall seeing you but it is nice to finally meet you. As per your request Catherine has told me a lot about you and if she is happy then I shall allow you to accept the position of chief lady in waiting and serve her kindly and fairly.
Regarding your children suitable positions can be found for them I am sure of which I will look into and then get back to you on the matter. For now you will reside in the guest chambers until after the wedding and coronation I hope this is okay for you my lady?

Re: King's Reception Room
I smile and curtsy politely. Henry has his mothers hair and mouth.
Your Grace I would be honoured. I will protect and serve Katherine to thy best of my abilities. My children have been well educated, they will serve thee well. You were very young when I visited thee on occasion, I was teaching thee Latin when - I left. I hope we can be on good terms. How fares My Lady thy Kings mother? I heard she has been unwell of late?

"Very well Lady Pole you will assume your duties as soon as Catherine is queen. What positions at court would interest your children? I am sure that we will be on good terms my lady as I do not want any tension between us. My lady mother died many years ago and my lady Grandmother she is unwell many say she will not reach the winter as the death of father has hit her hard.

I smile and curtsy.
I thank you your Grace. I would very much like to be on good terms with everyone at court. My son Henry although still young is not without diplomacy and indiscretion. Perhaps a courier might suit him? Arthur is progressing well with thy sword and other weaponry, he may be much capable for your army? I am sorry to hear of your Lady grandmother, she is a - formidable woman with great courage.

"Lady Pole you must have your son present me with his sword skills and if I find them suitable he shall take up a position in the ranks in my army. Tell me what age are your children for I do believe should you also want it that your sons are presented with suitable wives? Your daughters may join you in Katherine's household.

Re: King's Reception Room
Your Grace my eldest Henry is seventeen, Arthur is fifteen, he is thy one we discussed that perhaps might be suitable for your royal army? Reginald is nine and currently in service to thy Lord. Geoffrey is five and my youngest daughter Ursula is just over four years old. I have already made alternative arrangements for my eldest sons marriages your Grace. My younger children we can perhaps discuss when thy time comes?
